Let’s Compare is written by a small, independent editorial team. We check every claim against the sources we cite and lean on a data engine that scores every product from verified specifications, so the advice rests on numbers you can check for yourself.
Every specification in our catalogue is sourced from authentic, license-clean references: mostly manufacturer documentation and reputable independent test labs and publications, including non-English outlets where they have the best data. We do not invent, estimate or “fill in” a spec we can’t verify; a value we can’t confirm is left out rather than guessed.
Our guides and explainers cite their external sources directly, so you can follow any claim back to its origin. The stats woven into the writing (for example, “the share of phones we track with an IP68 rating”) are computed live from our own catalogue, and update as it grows.
We use AI tools to help research, draft and edit our articles, because they let a small team cover a lot of products and keep explainers up to date. They don’t decide anything on their own: every figure comes from our catalogue or a cited source, every claim is checked against those sources before it’s published, and product scores are calculated from specs, not generated.
Products get a single 0–100 score computed the same way for everything in a category, from verified specs and transparent, published weightings. No paid placements, no editor’s hunches. Each buying guide shows exactly how much every factor moves that score.

Tech moves fast. The figures in our guides and studies are recomputed from the catalogue as new products are added, and each guide carries a “last updated” date tied to the most recent data in its category rather than a date we typed once and forgot.
